Ways to Fight the Depression

As we all know, our once thriving nation is gradually going into a great debt. The Public debt for U.S. citizens as of March 13, 2009 is $10, 957, 698, 705, 214. 52 and is constantly increasing. How do we fight this, as it seems, unavoidable problem lurking in our future?

  1. We should not have faulty dreams for the future. Let me clarify that for you. If you had some silly fantasy ever since you were a child that you would be a rock star, rethink your economic plan right now. Though these lives sound great, they're a long shot in the times we are in right now. Try a more stable occupation choice. A more stable occupation would include being a doctor or a person in criminal law. Though they do not sound very exciting, the fact is they will be the ones not in the unemployment line. This is because we need these people whether we have money or not, and could not live without them.
  2. Another way to fight the depression would be through making the right decisions right now. We should each try to limit the amount of material items we buy that we don't necessarily need. An example of this would be: instead of buying the brand cereal, you could just buy the generic brand. Also, try limiting the hours you sit behind the t.v. screen and do something productive, like exercising. This would help you to save electricity and maybe even shed a few pounds! This is both a bennefit to you and the environment! Always remember a penny saved is a penny earned.
  3. The gist of what i am trying to say is: Try to make the right decisions now so that you will not regret in the future.
